The restaurant which is i went to is really as my expect. they have good food, nice environment and people from everywhere are all enjoy the meals.
However, there has two things out of my expect. one is P F Chang is really Chinese. as you know, some of the Chinese restaurants in the USA are not very Chinese. they are kinda like America- Chinese restaurant or American-asian restaurant. P F Chang is very Chinese and traditional it is why i like it. anther thing is the line is so long which is out of my expect. it is a good thing for a restaurant, but not really good for us. i think most of us are could like to wait for a good meal.
Sijia,
ReplyDeleteI think that you make a very interesting point about how the food at PF Chang's is very authentic. You could focus this into an argument for the ethos of the restaurant. Also, the fact that there is long line could be a great appeal to the logos argument--you could explain that if the line is long, then the food must be good.
I agree completely. I have no idea what Chinese food is authentic and what is not because I've never been to China. This is a fairly unique attribute that you should definitely include in your paper.
ReplyDeleteI like PF Changs, but I bet is is nothing compared to the real stuff. I am interested how different PF's is from authentic chineese food. I am also interested in what type of argument the space is making. Good choice!
ReplyDeleteI am very surprised you find P.F. Changs to be very similar to a traditional Chinese. I thought it would be the opposite and nothing traditional about it. Perhaps the decorating and chopsticks are authentic but is the food really that authentic? It seems like there is way more fat in the American food than the Chinese.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the agreement point about whether a Chinese restaurant is a traditonal, or we can say, a "real" Chinese restaurant. Since I am Chinese myself.
